Make no mistake. The true heroes and difference-makers here were the fire fighters and Forest Rangers. After months with no rain, the land is so dry and volatile that at one point a fire broke out and were it not for the immediate response of our heroes, it almost certainly would have flared into a major conflagration. It was sparked by a bulldozer hitting a rock. So the next day firefighters and rangers, attempting to complete a fire break deep in mountainous terrain, found it necessary for men with tanks to walk ahead on either side of the bulldozers to prevent sparking. This is tough enough work, but its hard to imagine it in 100+ temperatures. One could break a sweat simply walking a few feet.
3. Feel Lighter. Dont focus on how much you want to lose; your subconscious mind does not like deprivation. Instead, focus on your ideal body weight and sense the feelings of being lighter daily. Let your body do what it does bestit is always expressing what you think about. Think thin thoughts and you will begin to want to be more active and eat healthier, which will burn fat faster. Look for progress, not perfection, as you embrace your journey to fitness success.
Many of the pits that would get brought in would also be seriously underweight. We learned that diet played a vital role in mental stability.
