Now let's move in to the Tack Room. Winter was cold so you did not spend much time in here so clean the layer of dust that has accumulated on everything. With the warm weather it is time to clean and repair all your blankets and put them away for next winter. Wrap them in plastic or use vacuum bags to keep them fresh and bug free for next winter. I have seen articles that say there are services that will do this but I have not been able to find one.
Shed bases-Unless you sit your shed on a base, it will sag, lean and possibly tip as the ground beneath it heaves and settles. Whether you choose a well constructed wooden platform or a concrete one depends on your proposed use of the shed. You are well advised to sit your shed on the strongest possible foundation. This precaution will extend your shed's life. It is a false economy to sit a shed on an unprepared piece of ground.
Owners of sheds can make them match their house by adding shutters, flowerboxes, finials, and weathervanes. Air conditioning, heat, furniture and ventilation can be added as well.
